Our Wedding

Sara and Ben's story started back in 2016 when they first met at North Slope. Ben and Sara dated for a few months and things were going great. Sara got into PT school with 10 days notice and they decided to go their separate ways as Sara would be moving across the state. Fast forward 3 years later, Sara found herself back at home starting her career as a PT and Ben had just bought his business in Tunkhannock. Sara spent the day at Lake Carey with some family friends and after one too many cocktails asked her sister Jess to drive home "the long way around the lake". Ben would refer to the request as "stalking" (the couple has agreed to disagree on the motive here). When the girls spotted Ben in his American flag bathing suit, crocs, and plastic cowboy hat, Sara told her sister to floor it. As Sara sank down into the seat to hide, Jess took It upon herself to stop the car and call Ben over. In a pure panic, Sara asked Ben to talk behind a tree where she finally found the courage to tell him he was the one that got away (cue Tree girl nickname). Fast forward 3 years later at the lake, he was down on one knee and Sara finally got promoted from "Tree girl" to "Fiance".
