Our Wedding

Collin and Sara’s story began in a most enchanting place—the liquor store. Collin’s day job, promoting potions so potent they could make Amortentia seem like a glass of pumpkin juice, set the stage for a chance encounter that would soon prove anything but passing. What seemed like a random encounter quickly turned into something neither of them expected, sparking a connection brighter than a Lumos charm. Their first date, at the local Meadery, was nothing short of spellbinding, and when Sara suggested they go bar hopping in search of giant pretzels, Collin realized she was no ordinary witch. From that night on, they knew their connection was not just deep, but delightfully salty as well. Date after new and lovely date cast new spells on the couple that drew them closer together and deeper in love. As their love flourished, so did their adventures. From the enchanted shores of Long Island to Collin’s family lake house in Maine—an idyllic retreat from the Muggle world—they traveled together, creating memories that would rival any enchanted journey. They even ventured to Sara’s childhood summer camp in the Berkshires, a place reminiscent of the Forbidden Forest—but filled with fond memories and not a dangerous creature in sight (unless you count Paul, the eccentric maintenance guy) and it was only natural that they’d return to this magical place for their wedding day. Through it all, their energetic dog Sandy—whose playful chaos could rival the Weasley twins in dog form—joined them, bringing endless joy, mischief, and laughter to their lives. With Sara’s talents as a naturopathic doctor who could rival Madame Pomfrey and Collin’s heart as big as Hagrid’s, inspiring a class of teens with wisdom (and perhaps a few dad jokes) as a youth minister, the couple has built a life full of magic, love, and laughter. As their wedding day approaches, Collin and Sara stand on the cusp of a new adventure, one as full of promise and possibility as a freshly sorted student at Hogwarts. Sara envisions expanding her already successful private practice, becoming the magical healer the world never knew that it desperately needed. Meanwhile, Collin dreams of one day leading as Minister of Magic—or perhaps just a regular Minister, where his leadership will always be grounded in faith, love, and a good dose of humor. Together, they eagerly anticipate a future of love, laughter, and bar hopping in search of the perfect giant pretzel. Every spell they cast together adds to the magic they have created, and they cannot wait to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by those they love, embarking on their greatest adventure yet.

Friday Check-In

Dinner will be at 6:00pm provided by a local pizza truck! This will be followed by games and music bingo. Please BYOB for the rehearsal dinner. All are welcome.

Couldn't make Friday night? That's okay. Join us anytime before 3:00pm on Saturday.

Saturday Check-In

Start the day with Breakfast from 8:30 to 9:00am. Morning activities include swimming at the waterfront, arts &amp; crafts and archery. Then Lunch at Noon followed by more fun at the waterfront.

Saturday Activities

3:00pm, it's time to get cleaned up for the wedding. Ceremony starts at 4:30pm behind Parker Seeley Lodge, followed by cocktail hour and dinner. Then let's dance the night away under the stars.
