Amanda is Sara's cousin, but more like a sister. They have been through everything together. Amanda was the first cousin to meet Sara a few days after she was born and babysat Sara as a child. Sara has had the pleasure and joy of being there for Amanda through life and loves watching her children grow up. Sara is so thankful to have Amanda in her life to laugh, cry, accomplish tasks, but to also sit, eat ice cream together and talk.

Joe has been Ryan’s best friend since they were about 12 years old—but their bond goes beyond friendship. Joe is the brother Ryan never had. They first met through bowling and quickly built a connection that has stood the test of time. Their friendship has seen its share of highs and lows, but what stands out most to Ryan are the spontaneous adventures: midnight trips to NYC and the beach, impromptu getaways to Centralia, and many more. These moments, both big and small, have shaped a lifelong brotherhood. Ryan is deeply grateful for the encouragement, friendship, and brotherhood Joe has offered over the years.

Jessica is one of Sara's college friends and roommates. Jess and Sara bonded in the first nursing class and never separated. Jess has been one of Sara's biggest cheerleaders through clinicals and exams. Sara is very thankful to have Jess in her life to go on shopping sprees with, chat over a cup of chai tea, and rant about nursing.

Carsen is Sara's brother. Carsen was curious about Ryan from the beginning, wanting to know more about him, in which he gave his approval quickly. Ryan enjoys playing billiards with Carsen, talking about exciting work stories. Ryan is excited to gain a brother-in-law and to continue playing billiards and getting to know each other better.

Naomi was one of Sara's coworkers when they worked at Sight and Sound Theatres together. They enjoyed eating chocolate chip cookies on Saturday nights at the end of long work days. They typically find themselves sitting and talking for hours straight, with interruptions by Naomi's cute children. Sara is blessed to have Naomi in her life for deep conversations, laughs and praying together.

Jarrod (aka J-Rod) and Ryan met in college, though they didn’t become friends until junior year despite sharing the same major. They quickly bonded over sports—especially hockey (Ryan is not a Penguins fan, but he made the sacrifice… Jarrod, seriously, Go Caps!). Living together with three other roommates brought some of Ryan’s favorite memories: intense games of knee hockey, hallway basketball, and any sport they could invent indoors. Ryan is grateful for Jarrod’s steady voice of reason, how he helped him come out of his shell, and the loyal friendship he has shown ever since.

Lindsay is Sara's high school best friend. They have fond memories of taking classes together and spending most days after high school together. They have continued their friendship through college and enjoyed traveling around the United States together. Sara is grateful to have Lindsay in her life so they can push each other closer to Christ, attempt to solve life's problems, and hopefully start flipping furniture together.

Daniel is the husband of Sara’s bridesmaid, Lindsay, and Ryan knew right away when they met that they could be great friends. Over the past year or so, that’s exactly what has happened. Some of Ryan’s favorite moments with Daniel have been game nights as a group—especially the chaos of Hues and Cues—and exploring Philly and Boston together. Ryan is especially thankful for Daniel’s wisdom, compassion, and the steady faith that shines through in every conversation. He has quickly become a trusted and valued friend.

Lexington is Amanda's oldest daughter. Lexi has such a servant's heart and is so genuine and caring to everyone. She is very creative, and they enjoy making earrings together. Sara is enjoying watching Lexi grow in boldness and confidence.

Atticus is Sara's nephew. Atticus loves beating the family at Uno or Qwirkle. Sara, Ryan and Atticus love playing sports together in the backyard. Sara is enjoying watching Atticus grow in his confidence and athleticism.

Adeline is Amanda's youngest daughter. Adeline is willing to jump into anything and catches onto new skills quickly. Sara and Adeline tend to have joint birthday parties, since their birthdays are three days apart. Sara is enjoying watching Adeline grow in her abilities to articulate herself and continue to learn new skills.

Jackson is Amanda's oldest son. Jackson is the sweetest and more caring teenager that you will meet. Jackson played a big role in helping set up for Ryan and Sara' proposal. Sara has enjoyed watching Jackson mature into the young man that he is today.

Athena is Sara's niece. She is full of energy and loves dancing in the kitchen with Sara to "Dominic the Donkey". They also enjoy playing piano together. Sara is enjoying watching Athena grow in her imagination and learning new skills as a toddler.

Weston is Amanda's youngest son. Weston is very intelligent, especially when it comes to farming. Weston has taught Sara many things about farming and construction. Sara is enjoying watching Weston grow in his abilities to work with his hands and his creativity.
