Sara and Quinn met early May of 2020. They immediately hit it off and Quinn started driving down to Southern IL to see Sara every week during the summer sometime multiple times during the week. Quinn would work a 12 hour night shift at SBL as an RT and as soon as he got off he would immediately drive two hours to see Sara. That summer they played a lot of golf and didn't get to do much else since it was still in the height of Covid.

Towards the end of the summer Quinn asked Sara to be his girlfriend over tacos at the Washington Co. State Lake. In the fall Sara moved back to Charleston and the two dated all throughout their senior year and even got to graduate together at the same ceremony in May of 2021.

Shortly after graduating from EIU, Sara and Quinn got a puppy, Cowboy, together! Cowboy keeps the two of them and their family on their toes and is the apple of their eye.

In the fall of 2021 Quinn moved to Nashville, TN to start going to Physician Assistant school. This started the many many long distance trips from Mattoon to Nashville, TN back and forth between the two. Finally in December of 2022 Quinn was done with his school portion in Nashville and moved back to Mattoon.

Quinn proposed in March 3 of 2023, and was a complete surprise to Sara. The morning of that day the Mattoon area had flash flooding, severe winds and it even sleeted briefly. He told her to get dressed up to go to a birthday dinner for his Grandpa Easton. They were headed to the dinner when Quinn told Sara he wanted to grab the ladders from his deer stand where he hunts in Trilla. (Quinn had told Sara he was taking down his deer stand in Trilla all day as a cover for why he was out there). As the two were driving down the winding roads into the woods where he hunts they came around the corner and there it was! A sign that had big marquee letters on it that said "Marry Me"!!! The two got out of the truck and Quinn asked Sara to marry him. It was very picturesque with a sunset and beautiful pond behind the sign. Quinn also hired a photographer to capture the surprise engagement. After that the two met their parents, and Sara's sister at Tuscan Hills Winery to celebrate the engagement!!

Throughout all of 2023 Quinn would be traveling around from Nashville, TN to around Mattoon, to Charlotte and back to around Mattoon doing his rotations for PA school. Quinn graduated from PA school in December of 2023!

After all of that he finally moved back to Mattoon where he and Sara plan to live.

The rest is history till they are to be married August 10, 2024!!

We cannot wait to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with all of our family and friends!!!!
