At Walmart in Burlington, their journey began, Sara met Kyle, a geeky young man. She thought him cute, with humor and charm, While he found her smile a heartwarming balm. Star Wars became their sweet, shared delight, A galaxy far away brought their love to light. Kyle’s trip to Chicago for a Star Wars event Sparked shared passions and love’s early ascent. But a secret lingered, hidden away— Sara’s fandom wasn’t as grand as she’d say. “Sorry, Papa!(Kyle’s Dad)” she’d cheekily confess, Yet Kyle’s love only grew, no more, no less. Sara had Nicholas, her pride and her joy, A shining young light, her sweet little boy. With patience and care, their families would meet, Building a bond both steady and sweet. Then came a surprise in May of that year, Kaeden’s arrival was drawing near. December brought laughter, a new baby’s cry, Their family now whole, under one loving sky. A house soon followed, a place to call home, Together they’ve flourished, no longer alone. Kyle and Sara, a tale intertwined, A love that’s enduring, gentle, and kind.

How we met

Each year we journey, tradition we adore,To sift for treasures at a special store.At Dells Mining Company, with joy in our sights,We hunt for gemstones, our annual delight.On August 14, our fourth year as two,Kyle planned a surprise, both heartfelt and true.With Ellen and Eric, the rings found their way,Hidden in a bucket for that special day.Unknowing, I chose the bucket to sift,Through the sand, uncovering a precious gift.A small bag appeared, my breath caught in surprise,And Kyle knelt before me with love in his eyes.“Sara Larin Gutierrez,” he began to say,“I know that our relationship has been anything but typical.When I met you, I was just sifting through sand with no aim in mind.What I didn’t realize is that I would end up finding the perfect gem to fit my life.I love you and want to spend the rest of my life with you.Will you marry me?”With a joyful “Yes!” our story took flight,A love forever sealed on that magical night.From a store full of gems to hearts full of cheer,Our journey together grows brighter each year.

A transport bus will be at the Best Western. The bus will arrive by 2:00pm with a depart time of 2:10pm with an arrival time of 2:39pm to the venue. The bus will then leave the venue twice. Once at 9:38pm and then at 10:45pm.
