We are getting married on Sunday April 7th, We would suggest coming a day before settling in and making a weekend out of it! There is so much to do in the desert and Spring is a very magical time of year!
RENT A CAR
L.A. is a driving city and it is essential you have a car to get to the Desert and around the city. Plenty of rental car services, check to see what there is at the airport, otherwise Turo is a company that you can share cars. If your flying into LAX I would book a car rental near the airport probably cheaper.

Airbnb
We are getting married in Yucca Valley, High Desert, California which is near Joshua Tree and Morongo Valley. There are so many amazing airbnb's and fun places to stay in the desert. I would make sure to not go further than Joshua Tree, Morongo Valley or Pioneer Town as distances are far out there in the desert. There are some fun spots that if your group together would be fun to rent a house and make a weekend out of it !

Pioneer Motel
Pioneer Motel is an iconic Hotel not too far from yucca, in an old western town . Built originally as a waypost for movie stars of old Westerns, Pioneertown Motel has stood since 1946 as a place for wearied travelers and sun-drunk revelers to seek solace and inspiration. Gene Autry played poker until sunrise in Room #9. Opposite the famous Pappy & Harriet's Bar and located near the boulders and rocks and High Desert.
The Bungalows by Homestead Modern
The 14 suites comprising The Bungalows are situated on the historic Joshua Tree Retreat Center campus, surrounded by serenity and endless views of Joshua Trees but with the convenience of being just a mile away from The Village and National Park. The Bungalows are newly renovated in a manner that honors their midcentury architectural heritage, while providing the comforts of modern living. The Bungalows offer generous communal outdoor space and access to the Retreat Center pool and classes.
Joshua Tree Inn
The Inn is laid out in a square horseshoe that provides privacy for all of our guests. All of our eleven rooms are on ground level, facing our desert courtyard and large pool. Our decor is eccentrically eclectic.
The Inn is the site of the legendary Gram Parsons Room, where the beloved and respected musician/songwriter spent his last hours. Room 8 still offers a quintessential "Cosmic American Experience" to fans of the father of Alt-country rock. On the peach colored wall hangs the same mirror and picture that hung in the room back in 1973. We are an environmentally conscious Solar-Powered facility.
