Our Wedding

Sara & Jared first met at work at ExxonMobil in 2018 when they both started working after College, but they didn’t really hit it off until they met up at ACL in 2019. They made it official in December 2019 and have been inseparable since then. They fill their time rock climbing, traveling, and spending time with family & friends. Outside of that, you’ll probably find them relaxing at home with their fur babies, Prim and Rhae. They bought a house together in August 2022, and Jared proposed in June 2023 while climbing at Medicine Wall in San Antonio. They’re very excited to start this next chapter as husband & wife and so grateful for the chance to celebrate their love with their family & friends.

Free Walking Tour Medellin - Real City Tours

Located in the mountains near the city, you can visit Parque Arvi by taking a gondola right from the subway to the park's entrance. Admission is free.

Once a very dangerous part of Medellin, Comuna 13 is now a safe colorful neighborhood and one of the most popular activities in Medellin. You can visit by yourself or go on a tour (Comuna 13 Graffiti Tour, Zippy Tour, and Medellin City Tours are a few).

There are a couple of food tour companies in Medellin, including Food Tour with Medellin City Tours, Street Food and Poblado Rooftop Tour with a Local, Coffee Tour with Tastings and Lunch.

Paragliding over the Andes Mountains surrounding Medellin is another popular activity. There are paragliding tours available via TripAdvisor or Viator.

Guatape is a colorful pueblo located on the edge of a lake about ~2 hours from Medellin. You can visit Guatape as a day trip from Medellin (can pre-book through Viator or TripAdvisor). One of the most popular activities in Guatape is climbing La Piedra del Penol (a big rock with panoramic views of Lake Guatape). Other activities include hiking, waterfalls, and hanging out on the lake. 

Things to Do

We'll be in Guatape Monday - Wednesday (Jun 30th - July 2nd). We'll do a boat day on Guatape Lake on Tuesday. Everyone is welcome to join us!

Wednesday in Medellin

We'll travel back from Guatape to Medellin, and in the evening we'll plan to meet up with people for dinner and drinks in El Poblado.

Thursday

Nothing planned so we encourage everyone to explore the city! We will host dinner and drinks at Palma Piton in El Poblado from 7 - 9 pm (covered by us). Everyone is welcome!
