Suggested attire?
We want you to be comfortable and have fun at our wedding! The dress code is dressy casual attire. Wear something you’re comfortable in—button-up shirts, long flowy dresses, or whatever brings you joy. Since our ceremony will take place outdoors, we recommend avoiding high heels.
What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
We request that guests arrive 15 minutes or so before the official ceremony start time so you can get settled before the proceedings.
Is there parking available at the wedding site?
Please keep to the right and the fork in the driveway upon entering the Kamp Kenwood property and park in the grass area north of the venue. Signage will be provided for assistance. Please do not park in roadways.
Where will the ceremony be held if it rains / snows?
The ceremony will be moved indoors at Kamp Kenwood.
Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?
Weather permitting, the ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors. We will provide bug spray for the mosquitos that are invited.
I have dietary restrictions/allergies. What's the best way to let you know?

Will there be an open bar?
Of course! Please bring cash if you would like to tip our amazing bartender!
Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?
We kindly request an unplugged ceremony. Please turn off all devices and enjoy being fully present in the moment.
Additionally, we request no photos on social media until we post our first picture as Mr. & Mrs.
When will the reception end? Will there be an after-party?
Kamp Kenwood has set 11:30 for quiet hours when excessive or loud noise is discouraged.
Can I bring a plus one?
Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.
Are my children invited?
We hope you will understand our decision to make the wedding children-free, and take the opportunity to celebrate in style!
Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?
Weather permitting, the ceremony will be held outdoors that may have exposed tree roots and uneven surfaces. Parking is in a grassy area that may be uneven. The venue is accessible.
Will transportation be provided between the to and from the hotel, ceremony and reception?
We will not be providing transportation. There are plenty of bunk beds for guests to stay on site if they enjoy themselves a little too much! Please let us know if you would like to plan to stay at one of the cabins.
How/when do I RSVP?
You can RSVP on this very website--just look at the top of the screen. Please send us your acceptances or regrets by August 25, 2024
What should I expect after the ceremony?
After the ceremony, the immediate family of the couple will be taking pictures for around an hour. Guests can head over to the reception hall where snacks will be provided and drinks will be flowing. Dinner will be served around 5 pm, with dancing to follow.
What do I do if something changes and I can/can't make it after I have RSVPed?
We understand things come up. Just email us right away at hinz_amy@yahoo.com so we can make changes.

Is smoking allowed?
Smoking is permitted outdoors only in the designated areas. Please place smoking debris in provided receptacles.
