Seth and I met on a dating app. I actually saw his profile several times and liked everything about it but couldn't get past the fact that he had the same name as one of my brothers and passed him over several times...whoops! I actually paused my account because I decided to go on a break from the app but God had other plans. Three days after I paused the app (kept my profile from being circulated), Seth, coming home from a discouraging date, somehow saw my profile and sent me a message. We decided to grab dinner. We talked for hours on that first date and quickly set up a second date, and the rest is history!

We quickly realized we had a lot in common on how we were raised from being one of five kids, to attending a classical christian private school, to even going to a small liberal art college rivals. But most importantly we realized how much we loved the Lord and yearned to serve Him where He placed us.

The months quickly flew by and before I knew it Seth was planning an engagement surprise! He made a very fun and meaningful scavenger hunt going to past date locations where he finally was at the last location down on one knee, and made sure my closest friends and family from Texas were there to celebrate after!

We are so excited to see what God has in store for us on this next exciting chapter of our lives together!
