We met for the first time while out with a group of mutual friends, at a Halloween party in 2013. Our first date was the very next week and from then on we were spending our spare time together and falling head over heels for each other. Anthony has said he knew I was a keeper when I said I liked Star Wars and other sci-fi and action movies. I like to think it was my fun personality that made him fall for me but let's face it, it was my nerdy side.

Fast forward two years and we welcomed our beautiful baby girl Elena into our lives. Becoming parents, made our relationship even stronger, especially with our poor baby girl having some health problems. I couldn't have made it through all the stressful times and doctors appointments without him by my side and being my rock. We always say we make a great team.

For our 3 year anniversary, we decided to take a trip L.A to go to Universal Studios and Disneyland. I was so excited for Universal Studios because I LOVE movies, but mostly because I haven't had the chance to go to the Harry Potter expansion. I love Harry Potter and begged for that to be part of our trip. We left for our trip on November 18th 2016 and once we got to Universal Studios. We met up with friends and we headed straight for Harry Potter world, walked around and then we decided to get in line for the wand pairing and to go into the wand shop. In that line Anthony was acting really weird. He said he was okay so we continued into the pairing and then into the shop. We picked out our wands and my friend asked me to go outside, I wanted to stay in the shop and look around but she insisted I left the shop with her. So, we went outside and were in a corner area in front of the Hogwarts Castle when Anthony came out of the shop after what seemed like forever. Anthony came and handed me my bag and I was ready to move on, but everyone told me to open the box. I noticed they were all staring at me, so I grab my wand box and open it. There on my wand was my beautiful engagement ring. Anthony got down on one knee and asked me to marry him, right there in front of my friend of over 10 years and the Hogwarts Castle. It was perfect and I wouldn't change a thing. Maybe one, but it would have been really obvious what he was doing if both of our families and our baby were there together staring at me. I can't wait to marry my best friend. Like true nerd fashion we are getting married on Star Wars day May 4th 2019. We can't wait to see you all there.
