Dustin is from the Pleasant Hill, MO. area and Sara is from north of Columbia, MO. Sara moved to Pleasant Hill in November of 2020 for the school district and to be out of the city. Little did she know, she would meet the man of her dreams in that town! They met on Upward, a Christian dating app, in January of 2023. Through all the noise on a dating app, she DM'd her phone number to him and said text me. Thankfully, he did! Their first date was a short time later. When she got in the car, she immediately said "you're cuuuutte!!" To this day, he still thinks that's something you say to a little kid. Ha, Ha! But, she was really saying, "WOW! YOU LOOK GOOD!" They continued to hang out, their love grew, and they became inseparable. Dustin proposed October 21, 2023 at Rock Bridge State Park in Columbia, MO. and of course...she said "Yes!!"
