Due to the recent outbreak of measles, we are asking those who are not vaccinated over the age of 1 to stay home for the protection and health of our little ones.
What time should I arrive?
The ceremony begins at 5:00pm so please arrive with ample time to find your seat, but out of respect for the day's itinerary please do not arrive sooner than 4:00pm.
Should I RSVP?
Yes! Our venue & caterer requires a guest-count and if we do not receive an RSVP, we will assume you will not be attending. We can't wait to host everyone and want to ensure we are prepared.
What is the dress code?
Our dress code is semi-formal attire. Please avoid white, bright red, and green. Take this opportunity to wear your nice attire!
Will there be an open bar?
Of course! We plan to have as much responsible fun as possible. Please do not bring any outside alcohol as it is prohibited. We will provide everything you need for a fun evening. Only 21+ served. Please plan to have a sober driver.
Will there be parking at the venue?
Yes, Madewell Estates provides plenty of parking. We do ask that if you plan to drink, arrange transportation to depart as the venue is around 25 minutes from town and we want everyone to make it home safely!
Will I be allowed to take pictures at your wedding?
We ask that all guests turn off all devices during the ceremony. Leave the photos and videos to our highly skilled photography team! Once the ceremony concludes, you may take all the photos you like!
Will I be allowed a plus one?
Most definitely! We want everyone to feel comfortable and have the most fun as possible. Please include everyone attending on your RSVP, including children.
Will children be allowed?
Yes, children will be allowed at our wedding. We do ask that parents/children respect our wedding and stay safe. There is an outdoor area for the children to play. Please include all children that will need a meal on your RSVP.
Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony and reception will be held indoors. However, there is a beautiful yard in the back to catch some fresh air.
Is there a registry?
Our registry is all online, some through The Knot and some through Amazon. There is a tab above to find it. No gifts are expected, but all are very much appreciated.
Are there any hotels near by?
All hotels will be located in Lubbock, 25 miles from the venue. We are not reserving a block of rooms, but we created a tab with many hotel options with links to their website to book. You may also consider looking on Airbnb.com for house rentals.
What food will be served?
Steak or chicken, veggies, and mashed potatoes. This will be buffet style so you will be able to choose what you want! If you have any dietary restrictions, please reach out to Sara so she can inform our caterers.
