This fairytale relationship begins with two nervous high school students who didn't really know one another, with the exception of a quick, fruitful glance followed by blushing cheeks and a rapid getaway into a classroom. The battle remains to this day on who was the culprit for being too shy to initiate a hello, but thanks to fate and the fearlessness brought about by a little liquid courage that opportunity to say hello came to be at the Reno Rodeo. Little did the two know the impact that simple night out with friends would have on their lives, but the girl in the yellow sundress and the shy, puka shell-wearing boy finally got a chance to blossom a relationship.

A connection was quickly established through conversations about life, music, and movies. Favorite sports teams however are a continuing battle with someone being a San Jose Sharks fan and the other being a fan of the greatest sports team in history, the Colorado Avalanche. After a small break in the relationship, the two rekindled their love for each other and six years later the relationship continues to flourish.

At an intimate family gathering, the shy boy took a shot and asked the girl he met years ago in that yellow sundress and who he still wakes up head over heels for to this day, to marry him. With an anxious pause that caused the boy's heart to stall, she responded "YES!" With excitement, love, and compassion the two look forward to the next chapter in their storybook relationship.
