Where to begin… Long story short, Scott just downright had the good Lord bless him. Call it luck, call it fate, call it what you want.

Sara’s Version:

Our story began in October 2018 when two colleagues played matchmaker, setting us up for what would become a fateful first date (shout out De Ita!). We decided to meet for drinks and bites at the Revolver Bar—sadly, it’s no longer around. From the moment we started talking, we couldn’t stop laughing and connecting.

Scott, proud of his recent project as a Project Manager, asked if I wanted to check out the hotel bar and lobby he’d just completed at the Four Seasons in Downtown Houston. With a playful grin, I responded, “Stranger Danger!” We both burst into laughter. Scott assured me he’d take good care of me, and we’d leave right after. How could I resist? Plus, our matchmakers made it feel like there was nothing to worry about. And indeed, nothing went wrong. We continued to bond over our shared construction industry—Scott with his project management and me with my marketing.

From that day on, we were always together.
