Ryan and Sara met November 15th, 2019 in Seneca, PA at the Seneca Lanes bowling alley to be partners in a scotch doubles bowling tournament set up by Ryan's sister, Stephanie and Stephanie's sister in-law, Jamie. It was truly a long overdue blind date that many people in Ryan's life had encouraged and tried for years to set up Sara and Ryan to meet. The first words that came out of Ryan's mouth that evening were not a cordial "Hi, I'm Ryan. It's nice to meet you" but instead a "YOU READY TO DOMINATE?!" came flying out of his mouth, for which Sara nervously replied "Will try my best"-Ryan and Sara ended up placing 2nd in the tournament together, splitting the winnings, and hitting it off as friends.

Not long passed until the COVID-19 pandemic began to rear its ugly head. When the shut down and stay at home orders were about to start, Ryan had surprised Sara with a key to his home and asked her to spend lockdown with him-To which she said yes of course. Dating during lockdown for most might sound like the worst time to be dating your significant other or getting to really know someone, but Ryan and Sara made the most of their time together doing various adventures such as flying clear across the country and climbing a few mountains and chasing a few waterfalls in Oregon, Pen's games, hikes, kayaking trips, swimming, ice skating, skiing, running (Ryan completing his first half marathon and longest run ever with Sara) beach body workouts, home cooked meals, playing board and card games, puzzling, chess, corn hole, ping pong, bowling, walks with Kelsey and later on Stella and Bruno, Netflix marathons, and much more.

Ryan and Sara got engaged on December 19th, 2020 at his house in Cranberry, PA. They purchased there first home together in Seneca on August 31st, 2021. They look forward to celebrating their marriage with everyone on August 20th, 2022. They plan to go on their honeymoon to Jamaica in the October 2022.
