Having attended University of Virginia as an undergrad, Charlottesville holds a special place in my heart. Colin and I traveled to visit Cville many times over the last few years. Here are some of our favorite places and things to do in Charlottesville!

Visit Thomas Jefferson's home of Monticello

Visit the beautiful university grounds and have a picnic on the lawn

Go hiking in the blue ridge mountains at Shenandoah National Park

Enjoy the Monticello wine trail: our favorite vineyards include Pippin Hill, Veritas, King Family Vineyards, and Early Mountain

Sample the local craft beer: our favorite breweries include 3 Notch'd, Star Hill, Devil's Backbone, and Blue Mountain Brewery
