Of Course the classic Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is a great time!

A great beach close to the boardwalk, but typically a little less crowded.

Another great beach with beautiful views... If the tides are low you can also go tide pooling!

Abbott Square Market is a lively gathering space, where delicious food and enchanting live music collide all in the heart of downtown Santa Cruz.

Check the calendar for event information, however there is always live music on Friday nights playing in the square. It is a great place to eat, grab a drink, and enjoy live music.

Loch Lomond, is a beautiful Reservoir in the Santa Cruz Mountain's. It is a great place to go fresh water fishing or just to enjoy a picnic. They stock fishing the reservoir with bass and trout and you can rent an electric boat or paddle boat to spend the day out on the water. You can also hike around the reservoir fishing along the way. It's a beautiful place to have a picnic and spend the day in nature.

Take a tour to check out the Elephant Seals at Ano Nuevo State Park.

Take a sunset sail on the Chardonnay Sail boat along the coast of Santa Cruz. You may even see some whales or dolphins!

For those of you that may be arriving on Thursday, there is a weekly Beach BBQ Party that takes place every Thursday beginning at 5:30 in the summer at the Crows Nest. There is live music, drinks, food, sand, and good times!
