I asked to go first to make sure none of my jokes were stolen….

when we met I had come to terms that I had been wildly independent for so long that it might just be my forever reality.

then I messed up at work and you not only helped cover it up…but also gave lots of sassy jokes.

from that moment I knew I didn’t want our time to end.

everyday you show me true unconditional love. A love I didn’t think existed or was something I’d ever have.

you’ve helped me heal and grow from the broken parts of me. You also fix everything I break….or build me something better ….and give me a lesson on how to not break it again…which I totally listen to….

your kindness and patience is not only shown with me but also with Asher.

I can go on forever about why you’re a great dad but for now I will just say I couldn’t have picked a better father for our children.

this year I went through my most painful moment…losing my dad. Not only are you always there to pick me up when the grief hurts so much, you also consistently take care of Asher, the house, the dogs, everything….and give me my time.

I couldn’t have dreamed of a better partner.

I promise to take moments and slow down to show appreciation to our love.

I also promise to always talk about musicals and ask if we should get more dogs.
