Rob and Sara met back in 2019 when Sara first started working at Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation. The two were great friends for many years - running lots of miles, spending time at ALSF special events, and bonding over Nigel Thornberry (yes, you read that right). After working together for what felt like 75 years, the two decided to take things to the next level.
Rob and Sara started hanging out. A lot. It was clear there was no Sara without Rob, and no Rob without Sara. For one of their first dates, Rob and Sara went to the tulip field in South Jersey. This was the beginning of their love story, which only blossomed from there.
Summer 2022 was one for the books. Rob and Sara went to Dewey Beach with friends and family, and learned that Hawaiian shirts will ALWAYS be in. From Sara's first mermaid interpretation in the sea, Rob knew she was the one.
The two were SO crazy for each other, they committed to running the NYC Marathon for Alex's Lemonade Stand at the end of 2022. 26.2 miles later and they were stronger than ever. Boy, did Shake Shack taste good that night.
Rob stuck with Sara through it all - the ups, downs, and all the Eagles losses in between. They were forming a beautiful relationship to last forever (unlike the Eagles' defense last year).
Through all the theme parties, galas, trips, and weddings, Sara and Rob made countless memories together.
They added two new four-legged friends, Chipwich and Poppy, who wagged their way into Rob and Sara's hearts. A daddy's girl and momma's boy at their finest.
And so brings us to the end of our tale (for now) - Rob got down on one knee at one of Sara's favorite places, the sunflower field. The two were absolutely golden, coming back to a household of family and friends.
So where does that leave our lovely lemons now? Well, they're getting ready for a wedding, hanging with the dogs, and having fun. When asked what they're most excited for, Rob said, "Well, now I get to annoy you for the rest of your life." And Sara said, "Lots and lots of pets to fill the house!"
But in all seriousness, we love you guys and can't wait to celebrate. Let's boogie!
