Red Rocks Park is the best known Denver Mountain Park. The Park’s best known feature is the Red Rocks Amphitheater which was designed by Burnham Hoyt, one of Denver’s best known architects. The visitor center, completed in 2003 offers a gift shop, restaurant, exhibits and meeting rooms. The Trading Post, located just south of the Amphitheater, serves as an official Colorado Welcome Center. It is free to visit when there is no event happening.
Stroll the Museum’s 15-acre railyard with over 100 locomotives, passenger and freight cars, cabooses and even a G-scale garden railway. Watch as Colorado railroad history is brought back to life in our Roundhouse restoration facility with a working, hand-operated turntable. Visit the 1880s-replica Depot Museum building housing changing exhibits, along with the Denver HO Model Railroad Club’s operating model layout replicating the various types of Colorado mountain railroading.

Admission: $10 adults, $5 ages 2-17, $8 seniors ages 60+. Free for members.* Children under 2 do not require a ticket.
The Mines Museum of Earth Science, is a geology museum based in the Colorado School of Mines, Golden, Colorado, United States. It was established in 1873 and opened in 1874.
