We started off as the typical high school couple, unsure of where life would take us.

We went to our first prom together. Our parents met for the first time, and I'm sure they had no idea then that they would forever be in each other's lives.

Zac graduated high school and I realized that our high school experience together was already coming to an end.

We spent every moment of that summer together, knowing that Zac would move into his dorm at Wright State that fall.

With the craziness of his freshmen year and my senior year, I still managed to drag him back to all of my high school events, including homecoming.

Holidays started looking a lot different. We juggled all of the family celebrations which made us look forward to the holiday season more and more each year knowing we could reconnect with each of our different families.

As all of my high school lasts continued to pass, Zac was always there for each event and celebration.

I graduated and knew that I would be back in Dayton in the fall to start college at Wright State. Having Zac there was just an added plus!

The summer came and went all too fast, but we soon were all moved into our dorms in Hawthorne hall.

My birthday has always been my favorite day of the year, but has only gotten better each year because of Zac planning the best day.

The holidays in 2020 looked a bit different. COVID challenged all gatherings, but we were very lucky to have still been able to spend the time together with our immediate family.

We love going hiking in the spring and summer and never pass up an opportunity to enjoy various areas.

We had the pleasure of being in two of our best friend's wedding together. I remember wondering if the next wedding we'd be in would be our own.

A quick girl's trip to Nashville with Zac's sisters and mom turned into the best day of my life and the easiest decision I've ever had to make. Not only did I get my guy for the rest of my life, we took our sweet Ella home with us. Zac truly pulled off the biggest surprise here, and I wouldn't have wanted it any other way.
