Blake Bell
Blake Bell - Best Man
Blake and Jonathan have the most history together, as he has known Jonathan since they were kids. They met in the third grade while attending Christ Covenant School and quickly became friends. Even as life post-grade school drove them into different directions, they have remained close to this day. They see each other as brothers and have come to each other for support, advice, and sharing of life experiences over the years. Blake is currently using his years of food service industry experience to help open and manage an upcoming restaurant in the Jackson area and is thrilled to be back home to be a part of such a momentous occasion.
Trianne Harabedian
Trianne Harabedian - Maid of Honor
Trianne is a lover of words and spends a lot of time with them, between working towards her MFA in creative writing and working in bookstores for years. She met Sara their freshman year, when they both got caught up in the same crazy friend group! They had various classes together during their time in college, lived across the hall from each other during sophomore year, and even survived sharing a room for a semester. Trianne also met Jonathan early on in creative writing classes and wasn't a bit surprised when he and Sara started dating! She loves dancing and writing poetry and has a guilty pleasure for chick flicks. Fun fact: Sara probably wouldn't wear dresses today if not for Trianne.
Aaron Bryant
Aaron Bryant - Groomsman
Aaron is a Texan and a Floridian by nature, and he is now an avid sauerkraut enthusiast. You can find him in coffee shops and thrift shops around Jackson, and he also enjoys crocheting, Dungeons and Dragons, and petting cats. He and Jonathan were roommates at Belhaven in the centuries-old concrete box known as Wells Hall. Their first interaction was an email to ensure they didn't have too many rugs. Thy played a lot of video games and occasionally pursued their respective majors. Fun fact: Aaron is the person through which Sara and Jonathan met, so it is all thanks to him that this wedding is happening. Give Aaron thanks for us, if you'd like!
SaraCaroline Jones
SaraCaroline Jones - Bridesmaid
SaraCaroline met Sara in her freshman creative writing course and later became housemates and friends with Sara. Later in college, she struck a friendship with Jonathan during their time as film majors; between classes and shoots, they had to spend a lot of time together. SaraCaroline is an aspiring filmmaker who loves reading, popcorn, the cinema, exercise classes, and a good cup of tea. She may be a beginner, but if you know German, please go and have a conversation with her!
Shelby Naron
Shelby Naron - Bridesmaid
Shelby is currently interning at The Gulf Coast Dietetic Internship after having finished up her degree in Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of Southern Mississippi this past year. She and Sara met in choir in Sara's senior year of high school, where they bonded in the alto section -- the best section. She loves crocheting and horseback riding, and she is a proud, adoring plant and dog mom. (Fun fact: she was born at 27 weeks and has fish-shaped scars on her feet from the NICU.) If you're looking for someone to stand on the sidelines with and have good conversation about Norse mythology or nutrition, Shelby's your girl!
Chris Dombrowski
Chris Dombrowski - Groomsman
Chris Dombrowski was originally Jonathan’s general manager at the Lost Pizza in Jackson. From the beginning, Dombrowski saw Jonathan’s potential and recognized how amazing and cool he was, so he gave him an entry-level management position after some time working for Lost Pizza as well as his friendship. Dombrowski has since left his management job to work more closely with the owners and organize getting delicious pizza to events such as the Neshoba County Fair and Choctaw Indian Festival. When he’s not at work, he spends time with his wife and newborn son, Michael Carl. He enjoys water slides, country music, and listening to (then rolling his eyes at) Jonathan’s jokes.
Chris Harrell
Chris Harrell - Groomsman
Chris is a goofy, kind-hearted man who Jonathan met during his time at Lost Pizza. He spends a lot of his time playing video games, but at the moment, he is planning his own wedding, so he doesn't have as much time for that. He, Jonathan, and Chris Dombrowski consider themselves an impressive trio, and when they're all together, the jokes don't stop. Fun fact: Chris has a bachelor's degree in funeral services, so it's ironic to now be involved in such celebratory occasions.
Rachel Townsdin
Rachel Townsdin - Bridesmaid
Rachel is an artist at heart and a barista by trade! She spends her time drawing, slinging drinks at two local cafes, and carefully curating her home decor with various beautiful objects. She met Sara her freshman year at Belhaven through Reformed University Fellowship, and even through very different degree tracks and struggles to stay in touch in the chaos of college, they still kept up a strong friendship. Rachel is a bit of a wallflower with a sweet soul, so if you manage to catch her, definitely ask her about the coffee she likes to drink or her family, who are her favorite people in the whole world.
Joy Watts
Joy Watts - Bridesmaid
Joy is currently a graduate student at the University of Southern Mississippi, where she is in the advanced standing Masters of Social Work program. She is an ambitious, determined lady with a bit of a wild side and a big heart for people of all sorts. She and Sara met through the social work program at Belhaven and ended up as housemates during Sara's senior year of college. She loves Disney, taking care of children, and supporting her boyfriend Samuel in his theatrical endeavors.
Doug Tice
Doug Tice - Groomsman
Doug, like a lot of the wedding party, is a Belhaven University alum; he received his bachelor’s in graphic design this past year. He likes to tease Jonathan’s cat, watch and critique movies, play video games, and draw – particularly cartoon ghosts and skeletons. He spends a lot of time doing so while watching television and YouTube videos. He met Jonathan in college after he had moved off campus. They became friends during this time, and they ended up living together their senior year with mutual friends in a house they affectionately called The Brose Haus.
Joseph Alexander
Joseph Alexander - Usher
Joseph is currently a high school senior who also works at Fresh Market Cafe. He grew up in a home down the road from Jonathan, and the two spent a lot of time playing video games together. They drifted apart until, through the grace of God, the Dolansky family took Joseph in to foster him when he was 16. Now, Joseph is Jonathan's little brother, and despite their differences, they share a love for each other that only brothers can have. Joseph enjoys video games, spending time with friends, and listening to EDM, metal, and emo music.
Dillon Cannon
Dillon Cannon - Usher
Dillon Cannon is a Belhaven alum with his bachelor’s in theatre with a concentration in dramatic writing. He is a mutual friend, former coworker, and former classmate of both Sara and Jonathan, and he was Jonathan’s roommate at the Brose Haus for roughly a year. His hobbies include writing fiction, spending time with his dog Gracie, and eating wedding cake. Fun fact: he and Sara shared the same interest in a cartoon they both watched growing up and even participated in its online fandom at the same time without even knowing it. Funny how people can bond over things like mid-2000s Canadian animated series.
