Cauy and Sara first met at a lock-in that Mt. Zion hosted at The Factory in 2017 after a friend invited Cauy to go with him. We hung out with friends and each other for majority of the night, and we were the only two who managed to stay up the whole night! After the lock-in, we went our separate ways, and never heard or saw each other for over a year and a half!

August of 2018, Sara attended an Alexandria football game that was being played at Talladega High School. She had friends that went to Alexandria that were in the danceline, and went to support them at the game. Sara recognized a familiar person holding a tripod with a camera standing on the Alexandria sideline... it turned out to be Cauy! Somehow she managed to see him again by a random stroke of luck, but we never spoke to each other at the game.

Through the power of social media, and by having friends who knew the both of us, we managed to finally get each other’s numbers! After talking for a while, Cauy asked Sara to be his girlfriend on November 29, 2018, after one of her basketball games in Oxford, and Sara said yes! So our story begins!

We spent many years dating, and we went through a lot of highs and lows together, but we always prevailed due to our faithfulness and enduring love for each other! Finally after six years of dating, on November 29, 2024, Cauy popped the question and Sara said yes (again)!
