It is true that you find love when you least expect it. Keaton and I met on a warm September night in 2021 at none other than a local bar named "The Haymarket." He showed up into my life at the perfect time, and from that moment I knew that I wanted to spend a lot of time with him.

We quickly became inseparable and saw each other almost every day. About a year after we started dating, we moved in together and went from being night owls to homebodies. We soon made the decision that we wanted to buy our own house together. After many months of searching, we finally purchased our first home together in Decorah. A couple of months after buying our home, we decided to take a weekend trip up to Duluth, MN for a small getaway. Keaton took the trip as an opportunity to surprise me with our engagement overlooking Lake Superior, and of course, I said yes!
