Our Wedding

Sara and Luis lived near each other&nbsp;growing up but didn’t personally meet until the&nbsp;beginning of high school. They shared a special connection that was&nbsp;indescribable, to say the least, but didn't act on their feelings for one another until much further down the&nbsp;road; 5 years later in 2018. During college, Sara and Luis shared many challenging, but life-shaping,&nbsp;spontaneous, and joy-filled moments&nbsp;together. They understand what it means to be a team, working towards the same goal. Most days are messy and rarely go as planned but as they move forward, all the experiences faced have really taught them some valuable lessons and serve as a reminder&nbsp;that through the highs and lows, their biggest priority is to lean in and lock eyes on&nbsp;God&nbsp;as He paves the way. They've learned that when you come expectant for what God is going to do in and through your life, it creates space for Him to move by either meeting that&nbsp;expectation or doing something far greater. On July 18, 2021, the Lord opened up a new door. Luis got down on one knee and asked the most important question of his life, "Sara Elizabeth Shiver, will you marry me?" And eyes full of tears.. Sara said, "YESSSS!!!" The past 3 years were such a whirlwind but every moment made and lived through has been absolutely worth it. There seriously aren't enough words to describe how excited we are to embark on this new journey together as one. Can't wait to celebrate with you at our wedding in May!&nbsp; S+L
