The day we first met was at Pikes Peak Brewery in Monument, CO with Pikes Peak in the background. Sara was living in Littleton and James in Colorado Springs (about an hour between), with Monument in the middle. We felt an instant connection and made plans to go on a hike together the next weekend

Our first time skiing together at Monarch Mountain outside of Salida, CO

We had many adventures including doing the Via Ferrata in Telluride, CO

James and Sara spent a week in Avalon, New Jersey with Sara's family and got to meet many of Sara's cousins (which is always an experience)

Sara was inducted into the Virginia Tech Sports Hall of Fame for her swimming career. James was able to experience Blacksburg and attend his first Virginia Tech football game!

We moved in together and the animals, Tripod (the infamous three legged cat) and Sage (Wire Haired Pointing Griffon), mostly got along together

James surprised Sara on the top of Monarch Mountain and asked her to marry him - she of course said yes!

We bought a house in Monument, CO! Plenty of space for visitors :)
