We both had the bright idea to join the Navy, one out of Tennessee and the other out of Florida. We went through a couple of years of schooling in different states and landed in Washington attached to the USS Ohio.

Seeing each other around work (yall can ask Nick about this one) and through a mutual friend we started dating and have been inseparable since!

We spent the better part of both years on deployment but while when we were home, enjoyed snowboarding, bought a house and built some of the best friendships we've ever had.

Our first full year not on deployment!

We adopted a puppy, Caesar, who quickly became our whole world. Had an eventful summer to say the least and took some much needed vacations!

WE GOT ENGAGED!

On Saturday, January 6th, 2023

Nick got down on one knee and asked Sara to marry him!

She cried, and said YES!

We are so grateful to have all of you in our lives and hope to share our special day with you!
