Upon arrival, you will first go to Guest Check In: 34A MOBLEY OAKS LANE; OKATIE SC 29909. Here, you'll receive all the information you'll need for the wedding weekend including the address to your accommodation, weekend itinerary, island maps and more!

Respectfully, our chosen venue and provided accommodations are not conducive for children. We appreciate your understanding that we have opted for adults- only events and celebration. Pets are not permitted.

Think DERBY! Formal wear meets Southern charm/Southern tradition. Suits: A well-fitted suit in traditional Southern colors such as navy, seersucker, or even a light-colored linen suit. Shirts: Crisp, button-down shirts in light colors or pastels, often with subtle patterns like florals, checks or stripes. Ties: A tie that compliments the suit and shirt, ranging from traditional silk ties to bowties, which are particularly popular in Southern formal wear. Footwear: Polished leather dress shoes, loafers, or even stylish cowboy boots for a more casual Southern flair. Accessories: Pocket squares, cufflinks, and a classic watch.

Think DERBY! Embracing timeless elegance with a touch of Southern charm, incorporating classic pieces and accessories. Dresses: Flowy sundresses in floral prints for daytime events to elegant, structured dresses for evening affairs. Colors and Fabrics: Light, airy fabrics like cotton, linen, or silk in pastel shades or vibrant colors and patterns. Lace and embroidery are also popular for adding Southern charm. Footwear: Heels or dressy sandals are common choices, with cowboy boots or stylish flats also being appropriate. Accessories: Statement jewelry such as pearls or bold earrings, a clutch or small handbag, a wide-brimmed hat for outdoor events.

October on Spring Island is beautiful with highs in the upper 70s and lows in the low 60s, mostly sunny with about 70% humidity. Chance of rain is minimal and gentle breeze is likely. Just perfect!

Spring Island is a wild, natural place. You will likely be walking on uneven ground, grass, gravel, and sand. Please pack shoes that are comfortable and provide stability. Saturday's Fun & Games may involve some time in and/or on the water so consider packing a waterproof windbreaker, sandals and swimsuit. Activewear will be necessary for other activities on Saturday. Welcome Party attire is Smart Casual. Wedding attire is Dress To Impress (formal) and it’s suggested you bring a light sweater or jacket as most of our wedding events will be held outdoors. Bug spray and sunscreen are also recommended!

Please note that there are no bodegas, corner shops, pharmacies, grocery stores, or any other amenities on the Island. All of our weekend events will include food but we do recommend stopping for any must-haves or snacks on your way in. Friday: Lunch will be available from 11-1pm at The Golf House, credit cards accepted. Saturday: Breakfast will be available from 8-11am at the Golf House, credit cards accepted. Complimentary lunch will be provided at The Gathering Room 11:30-1pm. Free coffee, tea, lemonade and cookies are available all day at the Golf House and The Gathering Room.

At check in upon arrival. Slots for group activities are first come, first served.

Cell phone service is extremely spotty on the island so there is no guarantee you'll have great service (or service at all). Most guest homes and cottage homes have WiFi, however. But don't worry! We will provide ALL information you'll need for the weekend upon arrival.

A car is REQUIRED. Parking will be available at your designated accommodation, The Golf House as well as at the recreation center for Saturday's Fun & Games.
