We do not have a room block at any hotels as various people are staying at airbnb's, with friends, etc. However, we wanted to provide some suggestions for hotels, as well as areas to stay in if you choose to find an airbnb.
We've included a map of all the event locations for the weekend to help inform decisions on where to stay.
The ceremony and reception will both be held on the west side of San Francisco, however there are not a lot of hotel options on that side of the city (probably more airbnb options as it's mostly residential out there). Some popular areas to stay are Fisherman's Wharf, Marina, and Union Square. Kai and Sara live in the Union Square Area.
Avoid hotels/stays in the Tenderloin, Civic Center, and SOMA.
The Beacon Grand Hotel
Kai and Sara have a room booked here and either the guys or the gals will be able to get ready here.
If able to, we will have people over after Friday's Welcome Dinner as there is a nice rooftop bar in this hotel as well.
San Francisco Marriott Union Square
This is a decent Union Square hotel, just a block away from Kai and Sara's apartment.
Hotel Kabuki
Hotel Kabuki is located centrally in the city, which may make it easier for getting around. It's close to the Japantown Mall and has sufficient parking (likely paid parking).
