The story began in November of 2019 and started as a right swipe on Tinder. We quickly hit it off and our first time meeting was a few weeks later. We met at the Union on MSU's campus and talked for hours. Later that week we went on our first official date and watched a Disney movie together.

Even though we were both a little awkward and shy during our first date, we had a special connection and decided to take a chance and go on a second date. That went well and we continually grew closer and stronger and looked forward to our time together. Five years later and the rest is history!

Since that time, we have shared many adventures together and have discovered that we both love to travel. We have enjoyed exploring destinations both near and far. We continue to travel and are looking forward to many more adventures together!

We took the leap and became engaged on July 13th, 2023. Our engagement took place at our family’s cottage in Lexington, Michigan. Our perfect engagement was almost ruined by a huge storm striking that day but as fate would have it, the clouds cleared and the sun came out just in time for us to have a picture perfect day. With rose petals on the ground and the sound of JVKE's "Golden Hour" playing in the background we were engaged!

We should also mention that in addition to planning for our wedding we have recently adopted two rescue kittens named Ophelia and Nebula. They are wild and crazy and are definitely keeping us on our toes!

We are so excited to share our special day with all of you and to begin the next chapter in our life together as Mr. and Mrs. Ferguson.
