Our Story

The day that created the opportunity for Ben and I to meet. I had always been adamantly anti dating apps, but when a Bumble account was created for me (without my knowledge at first), I figured I should give it a chance... Ben and I met days later.

The day that created the opportunity for Ben and I to meet. I had always been adamantly anti dating apps, but when a Bumble account was created for me (without my knowledge at first), I figured I should give it a chance... Ben and I met days later.

It all started with a swipe right and a date planned at the last minute... that I was 30 min late for because Waze betrayed me and took me to the opposite side of Lexington... Ben patiently waited for me and I walked into Harry's on Palomar to find us both wearing navy scrubs and a grey Patagonia. The rest was history.

First golf outing together... and the first picture I ever took of Ben <3 Little did I know, Houston Oaks would become my favorite golf course, but not because of the golfing... stay tuned.

December 28, 2021... Ben forgot my birthday. I was out of town visiting Tracy and that night, I reminded him to pick Tux up from daycare only for him to respond "You think I would forget?!" So I kindly informed him of what he had forgotten that day... he will never live it down. And this is why we have a birthday WEEK.

Our 1st NYE together. Ben cut his steak with a fork, accidentally ordered a bottle of wine that was the cost of both of our meals combined, and I realized my love of fancy mac n cheese

Our first vacation together. Charleston was gorgeous but way to cold. Tux was on cloud nine chasing the birds on the beach... until they flew over the water, then he was out.

Napa vacation with Bob and Tracy that forever changed Ben's and my drink of choice. We officially became red wine lovers (that is probably the last glass of white wine I have had tbh). And fun fact, Ben can pick out the subtle flavors in wine to the point that the sommeliers were impressed... perk of being deaf in one ear I guess.
