Q + A

How should I RSVP, and when is the deadline?

You can RSVP on this website at the "RSVP" tab at the top of the page. Please RSVP by July 24th!

Where should I park for the reception?

There is a parking lot to the side of the Federal Reserve building that holds about 80 cars, and there should be ample street parking at that time of day as well!

Is there a hotel block reserved for guests?

Since we're having an afternoon wedding and anticipate that most guests won't spend the night in Birmingham, we did not reserve a block of hotel rooms. However, if you are planning on spending the night in town on the 24th, check out the "Travel" tab of the website for recommended hotels!

Is there a dress code for the wedding?

There is not! Our suggestion would be "Sunday best"-- our ceremony is in a church, and we would love for our guests to get a little dressed up! However, nothing fancy is required.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

If you've been given a plus one, your RSVP on the website will reflect that!

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Of course! We love you and we love your kids, and want your whole family to enjoy the afternoon. Our one request would be that if you bring your children, that you keep an eye on them throughout the ceremony and reception to avoid any accidents or surprises!

Since it's an afternoon wedding, what's the food situation?

While we aren't having a traditional sit-down meal, we are planning to have plenty of food, and of course cake! One thing to note- we have decided not to have alcohol at our wedding. We appreciate your understanding!

Are you registered anywhere?

Yes, and we're so grateful that you would like to send us a gift! Please check out the "Registry" tab at the top of the page.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

We'll be getting started promptly at 1:30 pm, so we recommend being seated in the church by 1:15.

What if I'm not ready for the party to end at 5:30?

Check out the "Things to Do" tab for some suggestions!
