The story begins with one little swipe... Oh yes you may have guessed it. They met on the dating app, Hinge. Zach’s profile was outdoorsy, intellectual and obviously handsome. And Sarah was so intrigued she asked Zach if he would like to meet up. Zach then responded with a date, place and time which could not have impressed Sarah more. They met at Tannin, local wine bar in KC, for drinks. (This was back during COVID times when tables were spread out, masks were worn and even a temperature check on arrival.) What a time to start dating but also what a great time they had.

That date led to more dates which led to trips and more trips.

Their last trip ended up being the most special of all. They were headed to France for a friend’s wedding. Their first stop was in Paris. Zach was as cool as a cucumber and Sarah was none the wiser. They had planned to have dinner in the Eiffel Tower on their last night. After running late and afraid they would miss their reservation, they sat down and had a meal overlooking the river below. Afterwards, they walked to the overlook where they talked for hours about life and love. Zach then dropped the bomb… he wanted 24 children. After Sarah joking agreed, he popped the question. And she of course said yes!!
