Wedding Day
Our favorite day hikes are 1) Sawtooth Lake, 2) Alice Lake 3) Hell Roaring.

If hanging out and relaxing is your thing then there is a great beach at Red Fish Lake, Alturus Lake and Stanley Lake.

Red fish Lake Lodge offers various boat cruises.

Hot Springs are plentiful. Check out Sun Beam hot springs, Boat Box and Stanley hot springs.

The salmon river flows through Stanley and so fishing and rafting are plentiful. There is also a fabulous fish hatchery just out of town. If you haven't seen one, this could be interesting to you.

If you really want a work out you can bike Fisher Creek. Elk Meadows is an easier day.

The little town of Stanley is just adorable. There is some limited shopping available and plenty of looking up and gawking at the mountains.

At Red Fish Lake, there are boats/ kayaks for rent. You can just hang on the beach.

Wedding Party (June 21, 2024)

Teton Valley summer activities will be in full swing. Hot air balloon rides and scenic flights can provide a memory.

· Teton Mountain Ranch- 208.787.9005

o Teton Mountain Ranch offers tours through their Elk farm and horseback rides. I called to check and currently they have horseback riding availability Monday and Tuesday. You do need to call and set up in advance. This group also does overnight pack trip which can be customized to you.

· Grand Targhee Resort

o Currently there are mountain bike activities, a sample gold mining set up and hiking offered at the Resort. The drive up there is beautiful. There is a restaurant up there called the Branding Iron

· Teton River Float

o The best way to access the Teton River is from Bates to Big Eddie (also knows as Rainey Creek). You can rent rafts or stand-up paddle boards from Teton Mountain Adventures (208.354.2233 )or Peaked Sports (208.354.2354)

· Teton Museum- located at 137 N Hwy 33 in Driggs

o Teton historical museum focuses on the history of our area the those who settled Teton Valley

· GeoTourism Center- located on the West side of the HWY before the stop light in Driggs

o The tourism center is loaded with information about our Valley, activities, and wildlife. It is a free interactive center.

· Teton Climbing Gym- located right next door to the Geo Tourism center the climbing gym is wonderful. They have rental equipment and can give lessons if need be.

· Emporium

o The emporium is a cute little retail shop. They have a number of Teton Valley gifts and serve World Famous Huckleberry shakes.

Jackson things to do:

· Snow King Alpine Slide- this is like a controlled bob sled track but rather than laying down, you sit up and enjoy the view. The boys will love it.

· Jackson Hole Mountain Resort

o You’ll love riding the aerial tram. At the top of the mountain, you can hike, eat World Famous waffles or just enjoy the view.

§ Near the bottom of the resort near the Gondola is a course set up just like an American Ninja Warrior obstacle. I’ve been dying to do it. I hope you do.
