Old Town San Diego features acres of Mexican heritage, historical sites, colorful shops, eclectic restaurants, a theater and tons more to explore. Old Town is a place full of memories for the couple and the bride's family.

Mission Bay Park is the largest aquatic park of its kind in the country. It consists of over 4,235 acres in roughly equal parts land and water. Mission Bay boasts 27 miles of shoreline, 19 of which are sandy beaches with eight locations designated as official swimming areas.
Many people prefer to stay on shore and spend their leisure picnicking, riding a bike along the paths, playing volleyball, or flying a kite. There are close to 14 miles of bike paths along Mission Bay.
Public restrooms and showers are available and lifeguard stations are located in designated areas.
The San Diego Zoo is a 100-acre wildlife park that is home to more than 12,000 rare and endangered animals representing over 680 species and subspecies. The San Diego zoo is a special place that I, Sarah, would visit almost everyday after my college courses at SDCC.
I highly recommend going to the SD Zoo to check out the lion exhibit and enjoying a yummy soft serve ice cream.
SeaWorld is about animals, exciting rides and family-friendly entertainment. From the rush of the ray on our Manta roller coaster to the awe-inspiring and playful dolphins in our Dolphin Adventures presentation, there is something for everyone at SeaWorld San Diego-a real, amazing adventure.
If you love to look at aquariums, learn facts and love to watch cheesy aquatic shows, this is the spot for you!
Balboa Park is made up of more than 1,000 acres and offers 15 museums, various gardens, arts and international culture associations, as well as the San Diego Zoo. All this makes it a place that offers something historical, horticultural, educational and recreational for everyone.
Balboa is one of the places the couple has visited on their anniversary. It is a highly recommended spot for those that love plants, walking, art, great food and museums!
Want to enjoy the SeaWorld experience without paying? Drive down to La Jolla cove to watch Kiko's ancestors baking in the sun! It is a sight to behold as you watch the seals interact and dive into the blue sea.

The 25-foot installation – known as “Embracing Peace” – is one of the most recognizable ornaments of the San Diego bayfront, placed right next to the USS Midway. Hundreds of people visit the spot every day — many stopping by just to snap a picture recreating in the pose.
It is a highly recommended spot if you love history and want to visit Sea Port Village!
Seaport Village is a waterfront shopping and dining complex adjacent to San Diego Bay in downtown San Diego, California. The complex houses more than 70 shops, galleries, and eateries on 90,000 square feet of waterfront property.
10/10 recommend to visit after visiting the "Unconditional Surrender".
Liberty Station is a former military base converted into a large community center with food stalls, a movie theater, and art galleries. This place is HUGGGEEEE and filled with so many things to do. If you like to try new food, check out the Marketplace and the various shops around Liberty Station.
Just keep in mind that Liberty Station is a Huge area so be prepared to walk!
Like spooky things? The Whaley House in San Diego, California is a historic house museum and landmark that's known for its Greek Revival architecture, authentic decor, and mysterious past. It's said to be haunted! So they offer ghost tours.
Sarah is not a fan of the paranormal but if that is your thing, we recommend visiting the Whaley House if you visit Old Town!
