Our Wedding

The Meet Cute:Sarah and Trent met when Sarah joined their band Bear and the Beasts in January 2019. Conveniently, the band offered a great setting for getting to know each other and share a drink or two. The Start: Sarah and Trent started dating in August of 2019. Though, if you ask their friends, this should have happened long before then--Sarah and Trent were kind of the last to know if you catch our drift. They are much better at telling this story in person, so suffice it to say that a lovely day at the farmer's market, buying a computer, and winding up at dinner at their favorite restaurant that didn't end in a good night kiss prompted Sarah to make her move the next day. (Yes. They had a favorite restaurant before they were dating.) The Engagement: Sarah and Trent got engaged October 30, 2020 on the floor of their friends' guest bedroom. Like everything they do together, the night was intimate, organic, and peace-filled. It was really lovely to get engaged and instantly have friends there with whom they could celebrate.

New Orleans has so many incredible things to do (obviously. we all know this). And it's free! Details in the link above. <a href="https://audubonnatureinstitute.org/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">The Audubon Zoo and Aquarium</a>NOLA seriously has one of the best zoos and aquariums in the country. The zoo even has a <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aSZzsWRx_IE" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">song</a>!
