Tyler and Sarah met at Alpha Analytical on Tyler's first day of work in 2016. The two became close while working long hours in the lab together. In early 2017, the pair became roommates, as well as friends. Although everyone at Alpha knew the two were in love long before either of them admitted it, they finally became an official couple in April of 2017.

Over the past six years, their life has been a whirlwind adventure: road-tripping cross country several times, moving to Arizona, travelling to see national parks, and exploring various major cities across the U.S., including Nashville, Las Vegas, and New York.

On a cold and snowy day in December 2021, Tyler proposed to Sarah on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon by the light of the full moon. The two look forward to celebrating their upcoming marriage with friends and family in October 2023.
