Our Wedding

Let's rewind a bit and reminisce on our love story! The year is 2013 and we are co-workers at Bear's Po-Boys. A few interactions here and there but little did we know where it would take us.We soon would hang out more outside of work with friends and then we started some intramural sports together. From kickball to beach volleyball, we were becoming more of a presence in each others lives.

Fast forward a bit, we had been playing beach volleyball quads together for a solid 4-5 years, started training at the gym 2-3 times a week, and our friendship even grew to where we trusted each other to animal sit when away. It was always good company.

It's now 2020 and we actually go on our first date and we haven't looked back. Our night started with an intimate dinner and then proceeded to JAMNOLA for an interactive experience. We soon decided to start dating and then everything changed. We spent a year apart but made a point to see each other every 2 months. This strengthened our friendship even more. It helped us build up our trust, taught us patience, and tested out our bond.

Hellllloooo Cleveland!A new chapter in our lives started January 2022. We got our first house together! Lots of firsts with each other. New city, new jobs, new friends and also our first time living together! We have made this house our home. It already holds so many memories and we cannot wait to add many more.

For a while, getting the family together to walk/run the Mackinac Bridge Labor Day was brought up multiple times. Finally it was planned out that we would stay at Aunt Mary and Uncle Jon's tiny home and we would do this run together. It was just another morning and fun experience together....at least this was what Sarah thought. We cross the finish line and turn the corner to Trevor (the best man) running up congratulating us. This is not something out of the ordinary, so again, still just a normal day. Shortly after greeting Trevor, Luke proposed! Not only was it just a proposal, Luke had a whole setup in a park down the street with the family. It truly was an unforgettable experience!

Meet my bestie!
Mal and I actually met at the same place as Luke and I, she also worked at Bear's Po-Boys. At first we were really just co-workers and didn't care for each other that much. Then we started bonding over the gym. 
This girl here became my favorite workout buddy! Another soul that agreed that we can be both STRONG and BEAUTIFUL simultaneously. With our friendship growing at work and in the gym, we started hanging out more outside of those places. And what do ya know? We obviously became besties!
We have been through quite a bit together and we have endured it all. She is my voice of reason some days and I'm thankful for her everyday.

The one the made me an aunt! As she is older, she has been around my entire life, I only joined hers. But when I say that I do not believe I would be who or where I am if she were not a part of this life of mine. She has taught me so much over the years. She is the one that showed me how to sneak out of the house for the first time and she is also the one who has shown me what love means. We haven't always had a close relationship but as we got older we grew closer. She has gotten me through my toughest life moments and she has seen me at my worst but she continues to stay in my corner all the while pushing me to be the best version of myself. Grateful doesn't even cover it.

The beautiful soul that brought me into this world! The woman that taught me everything about life. My FIRST best friend. When I didn't feel well, hurt myself or got my feelings hurt, she was always the first one I went to. She helped me with my social studies projects and book reports. Comforted me throughs my rough patches and also was also stern if I crossed a line. She continues to provide this one of kind friendship between mother and daughter that I can only hope others are able to experience. Many times she has been my only rock and many times she has celebrated big moments with me. I will continue to cherish every moment!

Trevor and I met on our middle school bus route and from there we paved a new route of our own. Our friendship throughout school grew so strong it enabled it to thrive even when we were living across the country for over a decade. Trevor’s passion to provide knowledge and inspiration to our youth as an educator cements the character of the man that I am proud to call my best friend.

Jimmy and my friendship started on Bloomfield Blvd in Jackson MI. From there our adventures would take us snowboarding at the tip of Michigan to boiling crawfish in New Orleans. We have been through it all, be it hanging on the sides of building while working, navigating late nights in New Orleans or swimming around in disc golf duck ponds attempting to find some free discs. Jimmy found his way back to Michigan and I look forward to following in his footsteps of being a supporting husband as well asan amazing father (when that time comes.)

The Mallard Hotel

The Company House Bed &amp; Breakfast Inn&nbsp;has 7 guest rooms with private baths. Each morning you will awake to the smell of fresh brewed coffee and a full breakfast. The rocking chair front porch is the perfect place to enjoy the mountain view and the fresh country air. The Copper Basin Mining Museum is just up the hill and offers a chance to learn about the history of Ducktown, Tennessee.

This hotel is located in Blue Ridge, TN which is only about 15-20 minutes away from the venue. Blue Ridge area is a more urban/suburban area that has more shopping and food options available.

Hampton Inn Blue Ridge

LODGING IN BLUE RIDGE, GABlue Ridge GA is a town roughly 20 minutes from Copperhill. It is a more active town and has numerous hotel options. Hampton Inn, Comfort Inn, Blue Ridge Inn, etc.

This quiet location is a more personable option. The Dogwood Inn is a bed and breakfast that overlooks a historic farm and the Blue Ridge mountains. They do not accept pets or anyone under the age of 21.

Blanche Manor offers the most beautiful, guided trails in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The trails located on a private 350-acre reserve, that include stream crossings, and a panoramic mountain view of 3 states. We ride daily by appointment at 10:00 AM, 12:00 PM, and 3:00 PM. We also offer wagon rides through an apple orchard, followed by a fireside dinner with a musician.
