Joe and Sarah both attended Stonehill College and graduated in 2021. Sarah and Joe are both heavily involved in Campus Ministry and met in Chapel Choir spring semester of their freshman year. After becoming good friends at the beginning of their sophomore year and going on retreat together, Joe and Sarah started dating on January 10, 2019. It was no surprise to anyone that their first date was going to Mass at St Mary's and dinner at Town Spa!

Joe and Sarah have had many adventures together. They have spent countless days in Boston and Castle Island, as well as many walks on the Cape Cod Canal. As wicked big New England Sports fans, they have gone to Red Sox, Bruins, and Patriots games together.

Joe and Sarah have prayed and talked about marriage throughout their relationship, but in June of 2020, they started planning and even went ring shopping! Joe also started planning his proposal, which would begin to take place in early September.

On September 5, 2020, Joe brought Sarah on a tour of their favorite places and date spots in Boston, including the Commons, Faneuil Hall, and Newbury Street. The next day, he brought her to Gillette Stadium (her favorite place) and the Cape Cod Canal.

Joe proposed to Sarah on September 11, 2020, at the National Shrine of Our Lady of La Salette in Attleboro, MA at the top of the prayer steps. It was perfect to the two of them, as God and their faith has been such an influence on their relationship.

Now, the two are enjoying their time as an engaged couple, and are excited to celebrate their marriage with you on Saturday, October 16, 2021!
