Our love story begins at a taco restaurant in Washington, DC while we were both on mission with our military unit. Throughout our time on mission, we worked opposite shifts so we would always exchange the vehicle keys with each other, but didn't really speak much at the exchanges. One day after training, Sarah really wanted to go get mexican food but no one else in the training van wanted to. Soon after we got back to our base, Anthony texted Sarah and said "Do you still want to get Mexican?" and the rest was history. Now, it was not smooth sailing as it may seem, Anthony barely talked at dinner and it was probably the most awkward meal we have ever had together but, what really got Anthony out of his shell was when Sarah started playing Mayday Parade on the drive back to base.

After our mission in Washington, DC, we both decided to take a full time military position in Alaska. This is truly where our relationship blossomed. We spent four and a half years in Alaska four wheeling, dirt biking, hiking, and exploring the Last Frontier and our relationship! On March 24, 2023, Anthony decided to ask Sarah to marry him in the freezing cold tundra of Alaska.
