The place where it all began. We have both been coming to Mac n Bob's long before we met and now it is more special to us than ever. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but the Calzone (& the ranch) are the best around.

The most photographed point of the AT, this 8-mile round trip hike is one of the best, and a quick drive from downtown Salem! If you're hanging out for a few extra days, this is a great day trip and will have beautiful views by mid October!

A must when visiting Roanoke! The best late-night spot to grab a cheesy & a bowl with.

Travel up to the Mill Mountain Star to find the best view of the city! Plenty of walking trails at the top to explore.
