How we met

Picture of How we met

When Marcel went looking for a horse barn for his sister, little did he know that this would set him on a path to meet his very own horse girl. A couple months later, a lifelong horse girl herself, Sarah started a new position at the same barn also unknowingly about to be paired with her lifelong stallion. Both pretending to be shy post-covid social awkwardness, it wasn't until matching on an online dating app that the two agreed to go on a date, the first of many. After Marcel convinced Sarah to get a seafood main course following a seafood appetizer, he knew that she was the one. Sarah, on the other hand, instantly fell for his spontaneity and charisma and the two have been going hand in hand on adventures ever since.

Our Adventures

Sarah and Marcel's first adventure was going to New York City for a fun night out with friends. Sarah was so excited that she fell off her bike! Marcel quickly swooped in to her rescue and wouldn't let go of her hand ever since. From there we had Friday night parties in Hartford, Wednesday Karaoke singing, Thursday dates in Stamford, and plenty of exploring mini hikes and trails in the area!

Travel Buddies

When Sarah told Marcel that she had never left the country, it became priority #1 to change that. We quickly got her a passport and started booking flights left and right! For our first test flight we planned a trip to Miami for a concert. Although things didnt go as planned, we found a cute little sushi joint, and, well, sushi fixes everything. Except sunburn. Sarahs first maiden voyage outside of the country was to Cancun. We had a beautiful time basking in the sun, exploring the Mayans and their caves, and of course: more sushi. All of this traveling was in preparation for the most important trip of all -- flying to Slovakia. After an almost 9 hour flight followed by a 2 hour car ride, traveling a total of over 4,000 miles, its safe to say we officially became travel buddies. Although their sushi wasnt the best, the haluski sure were!
