Our Wedding

Nick and Sarah's story began when they first met in the 6th grade, and as fate would have it, they reunited junior year of college and have been inseparable ever since! Following graduation from BGSU and the University of Toledo, they moved to Columbus, Ohio to start their next adventure. Nick and Sarah have built a beautiful life in Columbus and have loved their time exploring the city! One of their favorite memories together has been adopting their sweet Bernedoodle Cooper, and their two kittens Maya and Ricky. Their household is never lacking of love and furry cuddles! Nick and Sarah could not be more excited to begin their lives as a married couple and cannot wait to celebrate their love with all of their friends and family by their side!

We have a hotel block at the Renaissance Columbus Downtown Hotel. Availability in the block is limited, so we encourage everyone to book a room early!

Renaissance Columbus Downtown Hotel

We recommend staying in downtown Columbus given the large variety of hotel options, as well as plentiful restaurants and bars to keep you entertained during the wedding weekend! Downtown Columbus is approximately a 20 minute drive/Uber from the reception venue, Darby House, located in the suburbs of Galloway, Ohio. Please reach out to the bride or groom if you would like further hotel recommendations.

One of the Renaissance Hotel's two signature restaurants. They have an excellent menu and cocktails to keep you satisfied during the wedding weekend. A perfect pit stop if you stay at this hotel!

A chic bourbon-focused bar with a large array dark spirits and cocktails. Located on the first floor of The Residence Inn, an excellent stop for any bourbon lover if you choose to stay at this hotel!

Buckeye Bourbon House

A popular stop in the Short North, known for their boozy brunches and delicious menus!

Forno Kitchen + Bar

One of Nick and Sarah's favorite places for a breakfast bagel and coffee! Located in The Short North in downtown 	Columbus.

A favorite in Nick and Sarah's suburb of Grandview! Excellent cocktails, brunch, and dinner options!

One of Nick and Sarah's favorite date-night locations! The best service they've ever had!

The Avenue Steak Tavern

An independent movie theater/bar/pizza parlor that is beloved by the bride and groom and all their friends! Famous for their large movie+beer tasting events, especially their Christmas classics every year!
