Our Wedding

Our story leading to our marriage is filled with countless miracles- great and small! Early in 2021, Sarah had been working in Sendai, Japan and was praying about whether to move to Yokohama, Japan and help start a new school with her church or move back to America. Niranjan had been working in Yokohama and was praying about whether to move back to India. God gave both of us fresh and specific vision in Japan during that season and led us both to stay, and we are so grateful He did because we met at our church in Yokohama, Japan in November of 2021! Very early on we both knew that we would be special to each other. Through our early interactions, we both admired each other’s faithfulness and knew we would encourage one another’s purpose and serving. Niranjan re-kindled a sudden interest in running as Sarah was leading a running connect group and started joining running group! Then one day Niranjan brought a hazelnut latte and banana bread from Sarah’s favorite café to her work. Ever since, our bond, our friendship, and our love has grown stronger and stronger- with Christ at the center, leading and guiding every step! Through some of the tough seasons we both experienced in our lives, our relationship grew stronger and deeper as we lifted each other up, encouraged one another, and prayed for one another. Through every step, God has led us closer to each other and closer to Him in beautiful ways. One verse that that has been powerful to us regarding our time in Japan is Acts 17:26 which says, “From one man He made all nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and He marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands.” We know that God planned for both of us to be in Japan before we were born and we feel so blessed and amazed at the way He brought two people from two different countries together in a country across the world! As we take this next step with our marriage, we are excited that our story is just beginning and we are looking forward to the plans and blessings He has for us together as a family. We know He cares about, sees, and orchestrates every detail in our lives. There is so much more to tell and celebrate in our story than can be written here. We love&nbsp;sharing our story and look forward to telling you all about it when we see you at our wedding!
