QUESTIONS ABOUT THE WEDDING DAY? WE'RE HOPING YOU CAN FIND THE INFO HERE. LET US KNOW PRIOR TO THE WEDDING IF YOU HAVE ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS!
What is the dress code?
We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up with us for our big day! Dress code is Formal Attire. Feminine looks include dresses or formal jumpsuits. Masculine looks include suit, dress shirt and tie.
What will the weather be like?
We specifically selected September to get married because it highlights the best parts of living on Long Island. That being said, temperatures can fluctuate between low 60's and mid 80's.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony and reception will both be indoors. The reception has a beautifully large outdoor patio overlooking Centerport Canal and will be available throughout the entire night.
Are children welcome?
We love your little ones; however, we've decided to keep our wedding an adult-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so that you can celebrate with us! If your children are invited, their name will appear under yours when RSVPing. You may bring your children to the ceremony in the afternoon.
Can I bring a date?
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP.
What time should I arrive?
The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30pm, so please give yourself plenty of time to get into the venue and find a seat! The reception will begin promptly at 7:00pm starting with Cocktail Hour. We advise guests to gives themselves at least 30 minutes to travel to the reception venue as there will mostly likely be Friday night traffic.
What should I do if I can't make it?
We will miss you! If you can't make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no" so that we can plan accordingly.
Is there parking near by?
Yes! There is plenty of parking at Saint Patrick's for the ceremony and Water's Edge for the reception.
Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This just means that we kindly ask that all phones and devices be put away and on silent/turned off during the ceremony. Why? Well, we've hired a professional to capture some of the most important moments and we'd hate to have a well-meaning person's phone/device blocking the moment for them to capture. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos as you'd like! Don't forget to share them with us by tagging us and use #becomingbennice
Will there be transportation provided?
Transportation will be provided only for the wedding party. There are plenty of Ubers and car services in the area and we advise guests to make any sort of travel accommodations so everyone can enjoy a happy and safe night!
I have more questions!
Feel free to either text, call, email, Facebook message, Instagram dm, TikTok, you name it, Sarah or Anthony about any additional questions. Please refer to the Matron of Honor, Kelly, or the Best Man, Clayton, if you have questions the day of the wedding.
