Our Wedding

In the summer of 2021, our journey began when we were introduced by a mutual friend at the downtown Palatine Street Fest. We had no idea that this mutual friend would later become the Maid of Honor at our wedding! While neither of us were actively looking for a relationship at the time, we began to spend a lot of time together discovering we have a lot of hobbies in common. Within the first few months of knowing each other, we discovered we shared a mutual love of traveling, lifting, and playing disc golf together. Our first trip together was to Key West, FL only two months into dating where Sarah was introduced to Sean's entire family! Over the next year, we would make another trip to Florida and eventually travel all the way to Paris. We have a long list of trips we want take, and we plan on taking all of them! Shortly after returning from Key West in December 2021, we both came down with Covid-19 right before Christmas. Sean had to quarantine in Sarah's small one bedroom apartment for 10 days. This was the beginning of us living with each other, and we would go on to purchase our first home in June where we would later become cat parents to two cute kittens! In December 2022 right before Christmas, we got ready for a family photoshoot. Little did Sarah know, this was not going to be an ordinary photoshoot. Instead of heading to the downtown Palatine Square where pictures were supposed to be taken, Sean took Sarah on a detour. Sarah was brought to the dock of Lake Barrington Shores where we spent time together on one of our first dates. It was on the dock overlooking the lake that Sean got down on one knee and asked Sarah to spend the rest of their lives together. Thank you all for being such an important part of our lives! We cannot wait to celebrate our marriage with you all this October!
