Our Wedding

It all started in the summer of 2014. Nick and I were 19 years old. I messaged him first on a dating app. I noticed he went to the same school as I did and sent the following message "UConn :)" We proceeded to message each other for about a month before meeting in person. That summer (between freshman and sophomore year of college) we went on 7 dates, one each weekend. Dates consisted of walks outside, the beach, dinner, ice cream, and finally a Luke Bryan concert at Gillette Stadium. It was that evening I knew I wanted to date Nick. Fast forward to August 24, 2014. We moved into our dorm rooms at UConn to begin our second year on campus, living a mile apart. I went over to his room the night before classes started to be greeted with flowers and the question I was so excited to receive, "Will you be my girlfriend?" YES! A million times yes. Since graduating college, we have lived an hour apart for two years and now together for the past three years working full time and starting our lives together. On July 23, 2021, I was completely surprised to be asked another very important question, but this time, one that came with a lifelong commitment and a puppy!
