Like all great love stories, our story begins when our eyes locked from across the room.... JK, we met on Hinge like all the millennials are these days.

Casey will tell you that I ghosted him first, but the truth is he ghosted me first and then hit me with a question about March Madness. And if you know me, ghosting + the basketball question didn't land well. Thankfully, he had the boldness to message me one last time to ask me out to coffee, and we've been together ever since.

In general, dating can be intimidating, but dating in a city known for being transient is even more intimidating. One of the things that stood out from the start for both of us was that we both were confident in who we were. During our short (because someone didn't check the hours of the coffee shop) first date, we easily shared that our faith was important to both of us, that my dog, Bingley, is, in fact, the best dood, and that Casey considers the Backstreet Boys to be the best boy band of all time.

We've built a strong relationship based on our faith, love of good food, a shared belief that early bedtimes are superior, and a genuine appreciation for all the little things that make each of us uniquely us. As cliche as it might sound, we really are best friends, and we couldn't be more excited to be getting married!
