Having crossed paths in high school and reconnected years later, our story is a blend of unexpected reunions and playful gestures that evolved into something extraordinary.

Our engagement unfolded unexpectedly but beautifully. It all began with a playful gesture—a ring pop offered —and soon turned into an evening filled with surprises and heartfelt moments.

As we were getting ready to head out for dinner, he mentioned a surprise in the car. I jokingly asked if it was my favorite Starbucks treat. When we reached the car, a note and roses awaited me. As I turned around, he was down on one knee, holding the ring that marked the beginning of our forever. It was a perfect moment!

Originally planning dinner at Outback, he took an unplanned turn through Terre Haute, prompting my playful protest of 'You're going the wrong way.' To my surprise, this detour led us to an unexpected but enchanting spot in Stables' parking lot.

The night concluded beautifully as we shared joyful moments with our family. It was a night filled with surprise, laughter, and an overwhelming sense of love.
