Alan and Sarah met while both working at Shenandoah National Park. Memorial Day weekend in 2021 they were both participating in a search and rescue for an injured hiker on top of Old Rag in Madison, VA when a mutual friend introduced the two. Their first date was shared at Melting Pot in Front, Royal VA and they have been inseparable since.

3 years later and they are now happy homeowners living together in the Shenandoah Valley enjoying life with their two dogs.
